Explore the MyMagnum 4D App today and discover how your ‘Hearts’ can support two meaningful community initiatives that champion mobility, independence, and food security for vulnerable Malaysians.
Project 1: Empowering Mobility and Independence with MILAD
Malaysia Independent Living Association for Disabled (MILAD) is dedicated to empowering persons with disabilities (OKUs) through improved mobility and independent living. For many low-income individuals with disabilities, access to essential mobility aids can make a meaningful difference in daily life, helping them move more freely, regain confidence, and participate more fully in society.
MILAD works to improve the quality of life of OKUs by providing essential wheelchairs to those in urgent need. With the right mobility support, individuals can access education, employment, and everyday opportunities with greater independence and dignity.
Through this initiative, MagnumCares is supporting procurement and distribution of variation of wheelchairs such as electric, sports, and detachable lightweight wheelchairs. These wheelchairs will be distributed based on urgency and need, as identified by MILAD.
Aligned with SDG 10 (Reduced Inequalities), this project directly improves mobility and independence for individuals with disabilities, while also helping address the current waiting list of OKUs in need of mobility aids. It contributes to reduced inequality and enhanced quality of life, aligning strongly with Magnum’s mission to uplift vulnerable communities by enabling independence and accessibility.
By supporting MagnumCares, you’re not just giving your ‘Hearts’ — you’re helping persons with disabilities regain mobility, confidence, and the freedom to live more independently. Together, let’s create a more inclusive future for all.
Project 2: Nourishing Communities with Healthy Meals with TASK
The Assembly Soup Kitchen (TASK) is a community-driven initiative that provides nutritious meals and groceries to the underserved and vulnerable communities, including B40 families, Orang Asli communities, refugees, and the homeless. TASK was founded in 2020 by a Malaysian couple who selflessly stepped forward to feed their neighbourhood during the COVID-19 lockdown. Today, both founders passionately continue to lead the organisation, catering to wider communities while working full-time as a teacher and an engineer, supported by a dedicated team of volunteers.
Operating from The Assembly Ground Event Space in Glenmarie, TASK produces around 3,500 meals weekly, serving communities across Sunway, Subang, Puchong, Klang, and surrounding areas. With Magnum’s support, TASK will provide three months of grocery aid to 150 underprivileged families, benefiting approximately 2,250 individuals from B40 and Orang Asli communities in Pulau Indah, Bagan Hylam, and Tanjung Harapan. Each family will receive essential food supplies to support a household of 4 to 5 members, helping to improve nutrition and address food insecurity among underserved communities.
Aligned with SDG 2 (Zero Hunger), this project directly supports food security, improved health outcomes, and greater social stability for underserved populations. It also reflects Magnum’s commitment to uplifting B40 and marginalised communities through meaningful and sustainable social impact initiatives.
By supporting MagnumCares, you are not just giving your ‘Hearts’ — you are helping to nourish lives, strengthen families, and bring comfort to communities in need. Together, let us empower these passionate heroes at TASK, who continue to dedicate their time and effort to feeding the underprivileged despite their full-time jobs.
